About Jurno

Jurno is a journaling platform built for daily reflection and anonymous sharing. We believe that writing is one of the most powerful tools for self-understanding — and that sharing your truth should feel freeing, not performative.

There are no public profiles, no likes, no follower counts. Just words — yours and others' — meeting each other honestly.

We're building Jurno to be the space where you can show up as you are, reflect on where you've been, and connect with people through the things that actually matter.

Why

We built Jurno because vulnerability deserves a safer place to land.

The research is clear: writing about your inner life improves mental and physical health. Being heard deepens those benefits. And kindness from a stranger — freely given, with nothing to gain — carries a weight that obligatory support can't replicate.

But the spaces we have for sharing weren't built for honesty. They were built for engagement. Over time, sharing stopped feeling safe. And when sharing stops feeling safe, people stop being honest — first with others, then with themselves.

Jurno is the space we wished existed. Private enough to be honest. Open enough to be heard. Safe enough that vulnerability isn't a risk — it's the whole point.

Above all, we hope Jurno helps you notice the magic of what's already there.

And meet yourself in the mess.

Inspiration

Jurno is inspired by small, human corners of the world — online and offline. Projects like Airendipity, This Website Will Self Destruct, Kind Words, unexpected online communities, geocaches, handwritten notes left on walls.

Places where strangers show up honestly.

We wanted to build one that lasts.
